I will be leading a workshop for Nissan Americas Leadership Development Program for their high potentials. We will spend two days together focused on developing enhanced skills to recognize strategic market opportunities, understand the challenges inherent to innovation, exploring ways to nurture new ideas, and creating processes to further refine new business models and entrepreneurial business processes.
I will be leading a workshop on Tools for Innovation in Healthcare for AHIP's Executive Leadership Program (ELP), a year-long Fellowship programs designed exclusively for seasoned health insurance professionals who are dedicated and passionate about the future of health care.
I'll be leading a workshop for Shore Capital Partners' investment and operations support team to dive deeply into the various funding mechanisms in the healthcare sector. We will study how today's payments and reimbursements actually reflect both the intended and unintended consequences of healthcare policy and legislation of the past 100 years.
I will be participating on a panel to discuss "What Investors Want" as part of the Self Insurance Institute of America's (SIIA) annual Growth Forum. SIIA's Corporate Growth Forum is designed to help companies active in the self-insurance/captive insurance marketplace better understand growth strategies made possible by corporate financial transactions (mergers, acquisitions, capitalizations, etc.) and engage directly with selected equity groups.
Early in our leadership journey, we tend to act more like the “captain of the team” rather than the coach. We are “leading others” rather than “leading through others.” This works fine when the business is small. But at some point, you’re going to feel like you’re running a circus - and you become a big bottle neck for things getting done. In this presentation, I'll be sharing the 7 Non-Negotiables that empower great leadership.
I will be moderating a panel at JP Morgan's conference focused on Employer-Based Healthcare: Gateway toward Value Based Care. Joining me will be: Stu Clark, CEO, Premise Health, Daniel Stein, Founder & CEO, Embold Health, Nikul Patel, Managing Director, JP Morgan Healthcare Investment Banking, and Pranav Kothari, Healthcare Strategy, Rocket Mortgage.
I will be speaking as Lead Director at the annual conference for a company I am very proud to be an investor in: Southern Orthodontic Partners. We choose not to be ordinary, but to be extraordinary. In doing so, we also choose to embrace the believe that our collective knowledge and wisdom can create processes and innovations that cause the organization to stand head-and-shoulders above all others in our industry.
This workshop is about building a meaningful professional life requires Intention (choosing to make time for personal and professional development); Focus (deciding where to concentrate skill and talent development that is meaningful; and Action (stop talking about becoming your best self, do something each day to be your best self).
